The Instructors


Holly Robison, E-RYT 500, began her yoga journey while pregnant with her third baby in 2002.  She immediately discovered the physical, psychological, and emotional benefits of having a yoga practice.  With over 900 hours of training, her classes offer a mix of encouragement, enthusiasm, love, compassion, and humor through use of asana, pranayama, meditation, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques.                     


As Founder and Director of Sundara Yoga & Wellness,  Holly’s yoga vision and inspiration expands.  She encourages her students to tap into their natural intuition and notice the subtlest of physical cues while they learn how to customize their yoga practice into one that's perfect for where their bodies are at in that moment.                      


Holly is a mom to three magical beings (and a grandma to a strong-willed toddler!) who are her greatest teachers.  She loves to continue her learning about all things relating to yoga, Ayurveda, anatomy, herbology, and natural healing.  

Cheryl began practicing yoga in 2012 when a friend opened up a yoga studio.  After a few years of people urging her to try it, she finally did to support the business of her friend.  After the first class she was hooked, and not too soon after she met Holly at that same studio.  After Holly started Sundara Yoga Shala, she came to help at the front desk, and with Holly’s gentle encouragement
enrolled in her yoga teacher training program.  It’s been the beginning of amazing journey. 


Coming from a background of long distance
road cycling and backpacking, Cheryl has sustained her share of injuries thus beginning her road to anatomy training through the school of hard knocks. She loves the amazing miracle of the human body and its ability to heal itself.

Cheryl's trainings include: 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training through Sundara Yoga Shala; Yoga Tune Up® certification; The Roll Model® certification;
20 hours Yoga Anatomy Training with Tiffany Cruikshank; 20 hours  Anatomy 101 with Tom Meyers; 20 hours of Annie Carpenter's Smartflow Yoga Certification.


Sharon has been a personal trainer since 2001 and certified in many different modalities such as stability ball training, kickboxing, running coach for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (Team in Training program), nutrition coach, senior fitness, and also teaching the art of hula hooping.  And since yoga has always been a part of her own personal fitness routine, using it to help in the prevention and rehab of her own injuries, Sharon also enjoys being a Sundara Yoga Shala certified 200 hour Yoga instructor.


After a 25-year career in law, Robin sought a more healthful endeavor by becoming a  certified massage therapist. Her love of yoga, and all of the many benefits that it has brought to her life, led her to Sundara Yoga Shala’s teacher training with the desire to learn more about the philosophy and history of yoga.


It brings her such joy to see and feel the changes that come over the minds and bodies of her clients and students during their massage sessions and yoga classes.



Andrew discovered yoga as a freshman at UC Santa Cruz with his first teacher, Julie Kimball (Iyengar lineage).  The physical challenges of a rigorous practice was what appealed to him initially. It wasn’t until actually taking a yoga class where he learned about yoga’s philosophical concepts. 


He enrolled in Sundara’s Yoga Teacher Training in 2019 with the intention to deepen his personal practice.  As a yoga teacher, his goal is to help students practice not only asana but also meditation and yogic philosophy as it applies to daily life.

Kristina is a certified yoga teacher and spin instructor.  She infuses her classes with a focus on breath, integrity, and moving meditation.  


With a background in breathwork, Reiki, massage therapy, and community leadership, Kristina’s work is dedicated to the health and wellness of mind-body-spirit connection.
